Viking River Cruise Update

 

Join us for a 15 day Grand European River Cruise on July 10, 2017.   Our ship is called the Viking SKIRNIR.  Sailing Dates are July 10-24, 2017.   This is a brand new Viking Longship built in 2015.  Our other good news is that the cruise rates have come in less than originally expected when we started booking the ship in March 2015, and the new cruise prices are anywhere from 4% to 8% less, or cheaper, than the 2015-2016 published rates PLUS all prices INCLUDE $225.00 per person Gratuities.  This new price will save everyone money on this cruise of at least $500.00 per person, depending on cabin!   Morris Murdock Travel has Chartered the entire ship from Viking so this cruise vacation belongs to us. We have over 50% of the total cabin staterooms reserved. We are inviting all Miata Club Member's family or friends to participate at these same costs. Please share this information with any others interested from any Miata club groups or interested parties.  The same discounts will be given to everyone!

 

The official "Terms and Conditions" of our cruise are now finalized by Morris Murdock Travel.  Amber Lee Johanson, our travel agent, will personally confirm your reservation commitment and participation on the cruise from everyone who has reserved a cabin and made a deposit. She will confirm the deposit you paid on your cabin stateroom and ask for your commitment.  Once this happens your deposit will be non-refundable.  Amber Lee's direct phone line is 801-483-6314.   Email: ajohanson@morrismurdock.com.  From this date forward you may pay by credit card for the rest of your cruise payments without occurring an additional credit card fee.  A payment schedule for the remainder of your payments is stated below:

 

Our Second Payment of $1,000.00 per person is due July 9, 2016. This is non-refundable at this time.  Your Final Payment is due March 9, 2017 (4 months before departure) also non-refundable.  Amber Lee will advise you to get Travel Insurance which is a good idea to protect your investment in the cruise.  She will provide you with the details of the Travel Insurance which is based on your specific cost amount of the cruise and your age. Travel insurance can be increased at time of booking Pre and Post Hotel packages and at time of air fare purchase to cover these additional costs. (Air fare will be booked approximately 10-11 months before the cruise). You also can make any monthly payments towards your cruise as you wish.

 

New Web Site Page:  Morris Murdock Travel has created a new web page on their website for OUR Cruise.  Check it out on www.MorrisMurdock.com.  It will have all kinds of useful information for each of you about our cruise and all the details you need to know including "frequently asked questions."  You can view the details of your cabin stateroom.  There are short video clips of the ship, cabin rooms, cruise itinerary, places we will visit and see, and many things you will experience on our cruise.  A Reservation Form is available for interested friends.  Meanwhile we would like you to view our Facebook Page for our cruise; named Utah Miata Club Viking River Cruise.  It is a closed group so if you have not joined yet, email Donn Cichocki for permission to join and he will email you back.   donncichocki@comcast.net.  Upcoming news and information will be included both on the Morris Web page and our VRC Facebook page as the cruise date gets closer. 

 

Basic Information:  The Viking Longship has 95 total Cabins.  Over 50% of them are sold out to Miata People from over 15 Miata Clubs in 15 or more states.  BOOK NOW for best selection of cabins!  Follow the two steps below.

 

Step 1:  Fill out the Reservation Form.  Access Reservation Form and Deck Plan/Pricing by pdf download on this website. Make sure that you answer all the questions.  Choose the cabin stateroom you prefer to have (indicated by Name of Cabin type and color coded letter designation in parenthesis next to the type of cabin).  Next to the cabin name and code on the deck plan, is noted the pricing per person based on double occupancy for each cabin.  Prices are discounted and include Gratuities. All meals, beverages, beer and wine with meals on ship are included.  Daily Shore Excursions are also included in the pricing.  

 

Step 2:  Pay your deposit.  Contact Amber Lee Johnson at Morris Murdock Travel Agency.  Amber’s contact information is on the bottom of the reservation form.   You can call or email her to make your reservation.  Either mail her a check or give her your credit card information over the phone. A minimum $500.00 per person deposit is required and payment schedule is indicated in 3rd paragraph above.  Once you have contacted Amber, please send an email to Mike Bailey and Donn Cichocki that you have signed up so you are on our email list for future emails about the cruise.  We need your names, phone and email contact information, type of cabin booked, name of Miata club and city and state you live in.  Send information to us at mike@mikebaileyprinting.com and donncichocki@comcast.net.
